What was established
The Society has established a Master Research Corpus at the collection level for the Trust & Fiduciary Law Collection. The Corpus organizes doctrinal authorities, restatements, uniform acts, historical sources, and secondary scholarship into a durable, edition-capable foundation.
Why it matters
Collection-level research is captured once and inherited many times. Volume dossiers no longer re-derive the collection's foundational sources; they extend them. That preserves institutional research effort across a decade of volumes rather than dispersing it into disconnected chapter research notes.
What it governs
The Master Research Corpus governs the authorities and secondary sources every volume in the collection is expected to have consulted. Amendments proceed by additive revision and version increment; the organizational framework is treated as durable.
What happens next
Volume I: Foundations of Trust Law will produce its volume-level research dossier by inheriting from and extending the Master Research Corpus.
