Property Law Collection

The Property Law Collection gathers the Society's study of estates in land, the recording acts, and the doctrines by which title, possession, and conveyance are established of record. It draws primary authority from state property statutes, selected federal statutes, and the recorded instrument itself.

Collection II

Trust & Fiduciary Law Collection

The Trust & Fiduciary Law Collection gathers the Society's study of the express trust, the standing duties of the trustee (loyalty, prudence, impartiality), and the administration of estates. It brings together the Academy's coursework in trust and estate administration with the Journal's issue on the law of trusts.

Collection IV

Internal Revenue Manual Collection

The Internal Revenue Manual Collection gathers the Society's holdings of the IRM, together with the editorial scholarship that teaches how to read it. The IRM is the IRS's internal operating manual; it is not law, but it governs the conduct of the agency and is indispensable to anyone reading federal tax administration from the primary record.

Federal Tax Collection

The Federal Tax Collection is the Society's broadest gathering of federal tax authority. It draws Title 26 and its regulations from the Legal Corpus, together with the full published record of revenue rulings, revenue procedures, IRS notices, treasury decisions, and the Internal Revenue Manual. It is the recommended entry point for readers approaching the federal tax record as a whole.

Civil Procedure Collection

The Civil Procedure Collection gathers the Society's study of the procedural rules by which a civil matter is pleaded, tried, recorded, and disposed of. It reads procedure as a system — pleading, record, hearing, judgment — before it is asked to yield a rule.
