Abstract
On the scope of the work.
A reference table of the principal federal consumer-protection statutes, each entry keyed to the United States Code, the implementing regulation in the Code of Federal Regulations, and the agency charged with enforcement.
§ III
Editorial Description
On the structure of the volume.
The table is arranged by statute, in the order in which the principal federal consumer-protection acts were enacted.
Each entry carries the short title, the public-law citation, the United States Code section, the implementing regulation, the enforcing agency, and a brief note on the private right of action where one exists.
Cross-references run to the corresponding entries in the Division of Statutes and the Division of Regulations of the Library, and to the Practice Manual that treats the statute in working detail.
The work is intended for desk use by practitioners and as a research aid for students.
