§ II

Abstract

On the scope of the work.

A section-by-section concordance of the Uniform Trust Code with the corresponding enactment in each of the adopting states, noting departures from the uniform text and the date of last amendment.

§ III

Editorial Description

On the structure of the volume.

The concordance is arranged in the order of the uniform sections. Each section is followed by the corresponding state citation, in alphabetical order by state.

Where a state has departed from the uniform text in a material respect, the departure is set out in a brief note. Non-adopting states are listed in an appendix with their principal trust statutes.

The work is intended for the trust practitioner who must read across jurisdictions and for the scholar who studies the diffusion of the uniform laws.
