The standing committee of the Journal.

The editorial board administers The Real Law Journal under the imprint of the institution. Every manuscript is read by the committee before it enters an issue.

The Standing Committee

The roles of the editorial board.

Each role is permanent. Successive occupants are recorded in the institutional masthead.

I

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the editorial direction of the Journal and presides over the standing editorial committee.

Managing Editor

The Managing Editor administers the editorial calendar, the manuscript log, and the standing schedule of issue production.

Citation Editor

The Citation Editor verifies every citation in every article against the controlling source before publication.

Section Editors & Staff

  • Research Editor

    Research Editor for Doctrine

    Reads each manuscript for doctrinal accuracy against the governing instrument and the leading appellate authority.

  • Research Editor

    Research Editor for Procedure

    Reads each manuscript for procedural accuracy against the controlling rule and the record of the court that applied it.

  • Section Editor

    Case Notes Editor

    Commissions and edits the Case Notes section, with attention to the procedural posture of each decision reviewed.

  • Section Editor

    Book Reviews Editor

    Commissions and edits the Book Reviews section, with attention to the standing of the work reviewed and the edition consulted.

  • Editorial Staff

    Editorial Staff

    The Editorial Staff supports the standing editorial committee in manuscript review, citation verification, and the production of each issue.
